I knew it was BS, that shit is written NOWHERE on the boxes... no international or non-us-region game I ever bought (and I have 5) said it was region restricted and wouldnt play in other countries. After they deactivated my Russian copy, I will no longer do business with Valve, no matter what the games are. They're becoming as big of a bully as EA is. Miniature fascist tyrants looking for that magic formula of price-vs-buyers where if 10 people buy their game for $20, its better than making it available to 19 for $10... some days you just hate this irresponsible capitalism.
