Wow, this thread lasted a lot long time. The 3DMark Vantage thread didn't last long.

....with good reason. Vantage is a joke. Well -- a bigger joke than usual, anyway. At least 06 is pretty, though a bit dated, and obviously (like every other piece of 3Dmark / MadOnion software ever) useless.

Intel E7200 @ 3.4GHz
evga 9600GT @ 720, 1800 w/ 900mem.

Stock was 9,185. I'm really happy with the results.
 
Q9300 stock 2.5ghz
8800gts 512 stock 650 core 972mem
got 12,850 with the 175.16 drivers....

then tanked with the modded 177.39 drivers to:

Single card, E7200 processor @ 4 x 900 = 3.6Ghz (3d mark and Windows wrongly report it as being 3.8Ghz. CPU-Z shows the correct frequency). 2GB DDR2 800 cheapass RAM and a Gigabyte P35 DS3L motherboard. Using a Corsair VX550 power supply as well, which might or might not be important.

I should also point out that the 4850 has an Accelero S1 Rev 2 cooler with 140mm Yate Loon fan and is clocked at 700 core 1100 memory.

I have no idea whether this score is any good for this system.
 
HD4870 at stock {Vista32/4GB PC6400/[email protected]] - 12305
at 980/1100 12681 [not much =P] .. Cat 5/hotfix driver .. seems low

HD2900xt crossfire [same setup as above but with Cat 8.3] 13090

and i believe my 8800GTX, oc'd topped out near 11K [i have to look =O]

Just finished my Step-Up to my new evga 9800GTX+. A quick run of 3dMark06 yields 13,966. (This is up from 11,000 on my overclocked 9600GT).
 
Couple of little tweaks puts me here, 14,698.
