Can't find a thread with average user scores, not site reviews, so I'll start one.....

4804
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=403

SM 2.0 Score : 1962
SM 3.0 Score : 1931
CPU Score : 1792

Basically the same as 05 but with some nice hdr added. Looks mint tho.

Please only post 3DMark scores in this thread. Any commentary only posts will be DELETED without notice or explanation. If you guys think I'm kidding, understand that I've lopped 2 pages off of this thread at 3:30 in the morning. If there are off-topic posts in this thread, I will find them, and I will destroy them. Also, when I do find them and delete them, the server will ratchet down your postcount -1, making an off-topic post a complete waste of your time.

What a waste of a download. The only new graphic test is deep freeze and it's pretty unimpressive. This is more like 3DMark05.5. The CPU test is so low resolution that it's just plain ugly.

Anyone else have some weird issues with the lighting in the canyon flight test? My screen kept going totally white and wack ass colors appearing....

reserving spot...did the hardware when 3dmark05 was launched perform so bad? or do you think the designers have become too fanatical?

I can't wait to see what crappy score I get with my 9800Pro. I'm hoping I can at least break 1000.

I got a score of 62 on my laptop (GMA900, 14.10 drivers):

:D

3DMark Score 62 3DMarks
SM 2.0 Score 28 Marks
SM 3.0 Score N/A

The ORB won't let me publish the score since it doesn't recognize the year old 915GM/GMA 900 (see pic above). But 3DMark05/06 recognize the chipset in the program.

3706 3D Marks
1531 SM 2.0 score
1473 SM 3.0 score
1383 CPU score

7800GT
1 GB of Ram
Opteron 165 all at stock
XP 64 bit

Here's what I don't get. This one guy with almost the same specs got twice my score.

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=1433

Could a GB of RAM, a 400 Mhz CPU OC and a slight video card OC make that much of a difference?

Okay this is the roomies toy - All at stock clocks:

Athlon X2 4800
1GB Apacer (2x512)
160GB HDD
2x 7800GTX
A8N-SLI
Sony DVD
1280x1024x32bpp (highest res on his VX924)

3850-3870 Total score

Irony: The CPU has betters scores better than the SM2/3 portions

SM2: 1483
SM3: 1596
CPU: 1876

The list, ORB verified high scores (or the only one) for each card type highlighted in blue:

and as promised at 300 scores, some stats:
3d06summaryeq7.png

If you don't see your score on the list, it's due to:
1) there is no info in the post AND your ORB link is dead (publish it and post your compare link!)
2) you don't have enough information in your post or signature (missing video card, or only a link to *your* general score page... publish your score and post your compare link!)
3) you posted your score while i was updating
4) you only posted your overall score with no details and no compare link
5) you ran 3DMark06 in a non-standard resolution, only default 1280x1024 resolution scores are included

IMO, only scores with an ORB entry are valid. I will still list unverified scores, but they don't really count. ;)

It would really make building the list easier if you post your scores in this format:

xxxx 3D Marks
yyyy SM 2.0 score
zzzz SM 3.0 score
cccc CPU score

Video card model, driver version, clock speeds

Good work pxc, I'm going to try and help you out. I have updated the title and first post of this thread to try and get as many ppl as possible to post in your desired format. Here to help

Thanks. Rudager's score is #15. I'll update at #25 and every 25 after that.

Rudager: your link is malformed and the ID is not published. :p

Anyone else notice that ORB cant tell the difference between single and multicard systems? Might just be me, but this seems to be a huge oversight.
