Now any who knows me knows that I've always preferred ATI to Nvidia. But I currently run a GTX 260 because it was the best buy price/performance at the time. Charlie there has always had a bug up his bum when it comes to Nvidia (ex-girlfriend?). Whatever the reason, he's always been way out of line when it comes to Nvidia. Are they heavy handed in the market? Perhaps from a marketing standpoint, but such talk that they are on the way out is just ridiculous! Despite my personal pleasure at witnessing ATI garner significant improvements over the last two years, and despite the fact that Nvidia has hit a few bumps, it all just levels out the playing field once again. I expect great things from both in the next year, and the competition thus raised will benefit us consumers. But Charlie trying to drive a stake in the heart of a non-existent Nvidia Ghoul is none-less than Don Quixote tilting at windmills. I never cared for Nvidia, Charlie. But in truth, they aren't a bad outfit, from the end-user's perspective.
