“Ahead of this year’s Nvidia GTC developer conference, CNBC sat down with founder and CEO Jensen Huang to talk about ChatGPT, gaming, the omniverse, and what’s next. In this full interview, Huang takes us on the journey of Nvidia, from its early days in a condo to the dominant player in GPUs, gaming, and now A, which is a major focus of GTC this year. Huang also talks about how he handled China export controls, and geopolitical tensions swirling around Taiwan where most of its chips are made.”

Why would he? He lives rent free in so many people's heads just by continually wearing that jacket. Hell, a bunch of members here are prime examples of this. Always mentioning his jacket when it in fact irrelevant to any discussion at hand.

I don't have any opinion on his jacket one way or the other. I just notice it mentioned more often than his company's accomplishments. Just a quirky observation.
 
It's obviously, intentionally, his version of black turtle neck, jeans, and sneakers

He wants you to remember the jacket, love him or hate him

Zuck tried it with hoodies for a while

I think the kids call it 'branding'
 
Just not having to think about what to wear when you are a public figure, doing public event, video, etc... is quite a nice bonus and at what cost really...

I've actually read this is why a lot of them (high level rich people who work) do it, no time to decide what to wear, just have a wardrobe of the same exact thing and remove that question/problem/decision for yourself so you can get to work quicker.

But there's absolutely an intentional branding to it too, especially when you're the public face of a large popular company, and add a dash of ego.

Except I really will say it could have been ego also for Jobs, obviously, or it could have been no ego and branding for him factored in whatsoever (initially at least) and it was all simply just the "I don't want to waste time deciding" part.

Cause Jobs is the same dude that had to be told to wear fucking deodorant and thought apples cure cancer or whatever.

An interview from CNBC with Jensen Huang does not explain anything. What it looks to me is that everyone wants to justify why Nvidia's stock is so high. The reason it's so high is because that's the collectively known safe stock, in a sea of falling stocks with the exception of Tesla. This interview is just porn for Nvidia shareholders.
 
No one lives in my head rent free lol, anyone else it lets people live in there head rent free that's on them!

Hmm that stock price is pretty sweet, think they’ll eclipse a trillion in value / market cap?

Maybe? Hopper was announced at last one. Would be cool, tie into saying 'A.I.' every 5 seconds and boost the stock lol 👍

Maybe just announce the 4060 TI though probably Edit: 4070 is the one up next my bad
