Using Asetek pumps with Noctua 's own sound and vibration insulation tech.

Asetek's patents have expired, so they could be doing something slightly different.
According to the Gamers Nexus video where he talked with one of the engineers, they are using the Asutek platform including the pump and radiator. They are adding a different pump cover with noise reducing foam and they are using their new A12-25 G2 fans.

It looks pretty much like I thought it would with them building an AIO. Function first, looks second. I've always loved their fans and how quiet they are, but they still have that industrial/drab look. I know it's going to be a good quality setup that's quiet af, though.

I've been looking at other models but was going to swap out the fans for Noctua fans. Just looking for a high quality one that will last a long time (not Corsair... After the third one, I went back to air cooling...). I was thinking a custom setup, but when i part it out it gets into the $600-700 range because it wouldn't be a basic setup if I go that route, it'd be an "overkill" setup. But, it'd be sweet. So, I'm going with an AIO with some modifications.

If it works well, I don't care if Noctua pays royalties or designs something of their own.

However, if it costs $620, I'll pass.

Yeah, even for a 360mm version for threadripper, that's ridiculous. The base 240 mm model is $170, which is still too pricey for me.

An Asetek clone with sound dampening…… I guess I’ll have to wait and see the results.

I love noctua cooling solutions. Good solid kit.
I do however wish they'd come up with a new iconic color theme. I suppose the upside is I do not feel compelled to get cases with a side window.

I have no problem with drab looks, but man those clashing black tan and brown colors get me every time. I hate them.

Hopefully they'll make a black one. That Noctua brown gives me flashbacks of TV's as furniture and woody wagons. You can even see that awful brown in an unlit case.

I'm sure they will. Extra price premium of course.
