Hello everyone,
Lately my PC has a lot of bluescreens and I get more and more stuck in the Windows screen (the motherboard was broken since the very beginning). For this reason I want to buy a new PC after having endured the old one for 2.5 years.
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Webbrowsing, working and some casual gaming. But the PC should be ready to play my all time favourite game Skyrim on the highest settings and a lot of mods. A lot of VRAM is needed I heard for this.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
I'm willing to spend about 2000 dollars.
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
I live in Switzerland.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
6) Will you be overclocking?
No
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
2560x1440, 27" https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/dell-ultrasharp-u2713hm-27-350cdm2-2560-x-1440-pixel-monitor-438200. Still my old monitor - I'm quite happy with it.
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
At the end of September, or as soon as possible. This current PC is less and less reliable each day.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
I just want one HDD, and I guess one graphic card. I'm not really sure what the other things are.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No, I will buy a new Windows 7 Home Edition (64bit).
Hope you guys can help me

- Graphic card (I'm waiting for the new ones which supposedly come out at the end of September)
- Processor
- Motherboard (Not ASUS if possible - I never want to buy from them again)

I bought the following power supply 2.5 years ago and never had problems with it: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/seasonic-x-760-760w-pc-netzteil-250160. Is it too old though? Better buy a new one?
- I will probably be reusing the DVD reader as well: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-drw-24b3st-dvd-brenner-schwarzgrau-sata-optisches-laufwerk-256707
