NES Classic on Amazon

Best Buy says "Getting More Soon", and when you go to the cart it says "Shipping by July 20th".

3rd Party Re-sellers will have a field day with this... All stock will be bought out and posted at double (if not triple) the MSRP. Isn't capitalism GREAT!?!?

I bought one at a local Target this morning. The guy said they had 60-70 of them.

Capitalism is the worst system - except for all the others.

I'm sure the Socialists would find a really fair way to redistribute the NES Classic to all their party members.

I’m waiting for them to make a miniature version of this version, then I’ll bite

They already do. Its a Raspberry Pi 3. It comes with Nintendo's entire library of games. You can even get a Nintendo case. Don't be fooled by your nostalgia glasses. You can put together your own retro system for under $100 dollars & play any game or system you want from that era, even arcade games with graphical enhancements if you desire.

One of many options,

In for one at bestbuy....
Couldn't resist at MSRP.

My nostalgia glasses are the only thing that matter!

I feel like people scoop them up. Amazon needs to start setting limits if they haven't already. People buy them since they are so cheap and resell them like 90-100, when they are not to be found in stock people still buy them at that price. Easy way to make good profit. I feel like it happens everytime with this.

I have neither the time or interest in fucking with the R Pi stuff after working on IT shit 50 hours a week. I just want to plug in and have it work like a light bulb. If that makes me not {H} then write me up.

3 Targets in my area have them for $59, think I will grab one this weekend and plug into my 1337 Dell monitor, Tecmo Bowl baby!

It only takes about 15 minutes if you know linux. maybe 30 if you don't. RetroPie blows these out of the water, though I will buy several at MSRP myself when I see them. The beauty of the RetroPie is that I have a server which I can access from anywhere and I mount the roms directory as an SMB share. Having several RetroPies this is very nice because all of my savegames work no matter where I go. I'm at my summer place right now and can pick up right where I left off :p

I went by Walmart and Target today.

I saw a stockpile of them behind the glass and no crowd.

I have never seen a crowd or line when any console is released here. Even when the original XBOX One and PS4 came out they were stacked up in every store I went in yet it looked like business as usual.

When the nes classic came out there were people lining up like Black Friday.

Had a ton of these behind the counter at gamestop. I was there yesterday...

Also: Is this "NES CLASSIC" any different than the last "NES CLASSIC" that was released?

Same games?

Now that I just bought a New 2DS XL, am I bettter off just buying the "Ultimate NES Remix" ?

Meh, capitalism is great. They will list them for 150, and sell none. Eventually after 30 price drops they will be selling them for 50 bucks.

Same thing happened with SNES classic, they all thought it was going to be a repeat, it wasn't. Any moron that paid 3x msrp for one is an idiot.

Ok, You win there. I didn't see a main reason to run RetroPie until you said that.
