Thanks for the heads up, decided to give it a go.

Early impressions are that the controls and combat are quite fluid, game looks and runs really well too, but wtf is up with these early regular ass enemies? They're seriously kicking my ass, everything around the main initial hub area just feels intensely difficult. Maybe it's because I'm not utilizing the strange 'harden' mechanic.
 
this is one of my favorite Souls-like games...too short but a nice game

I bought this on sale for like $7 or something a couple years ago and refunded it within an hour. Seemed just bad to me, idk. To each their own though.
