Mini/Micro ATX Cube Case for NAS

Hi,

Currently have a huge tower and want to downsize. Does anything exist that is more like a bought NAS in that its a cube/rectangle?

Really rather DIY so looking for something that has 6 5.25" drive bays for 4-in-3 hot swap cages, but need them side by side rather than upwards.

I have space for 24cm high, 40ish cm deep and 40cm wide.

The only other chassis style that I can think of that has 6X 5.2in bays are server cases.

You could probably do something like that, but you're going to be limited to mITX I believe.

Doesn't have the 6 x 5.25" drive bays, but it does have 8 hot swappable trays. It looks like it could be laid on it's side(non hinge side) and it would fit your dimensions.

Found another one that is matx, but for whatever reason it's stupid expensive. Might be because it's no longer made??

I had a unas case the 4x bay itx model and was able to cram a z270 mobo with an i5, there are severe clearance issues for the heatsink in that chassis, but i believe the 8 bay ones have way more room. Very quality enclosure. I want to try a silverstone but look up the cardboard mod for airflow.
