Mighty No. 9

Sigh.... I got my controller working but man, I hit a glitch that made one of the boss stay in the air making me unable to kill them.

There is clearly less detail in the current game then there was in their pitch video. The lighting took a massive hit, the character models all look worse due to the lack of detail, and so on. It looks like some shitty CG cartoon.

This is what they were initially promising:

And that is gorgeous

Anyone.... acually playing this game? I almost seem like I'm the only one. If there are, please let me know... Mainly because I want to know if anyone else seem to have possible memory leak issues. After playing around 2 levels, the game starts to stutter, and run like shit. Had to up the priority to get it running normal again, for a while.

New video for the game:

The video makes the game looks horrible. 640 Likes... 5000 Dislikes!

That explosion looks bad even for 90's lol. So many straight lines and hard edges. Damn and I just realized how much money they got, WTF did they spend 4+mil on in this game? Must've decided to say screw it and do a half-ass job and collect all the sweet sweet kickstarter money, glad I didn't back it.

They spent it all simultaneously porting the game to every platform under the sun while designing it so they could meet their Kickstarter commitment to releasing it on all platforms at once. They should have spent time really optimizing a PC release (or any other platform, just pick one to be the master) and then after polishing it tightly, ported it to the other consoles. They really shot themselves in the foot with their Kickstarter commitments. Inafune has said on Twitter that the commitment to releasing it on all platforms at once is what wrecked it.

A real shame, too, because this could have been something awesome like Shovel Knight if it were managed better from the get-go.

If that is true then where is the Vita version?
