Abso-fricking-lutely! Ugh that shit REALLY pissed me off.
I don't want another Kinect show. Ever again. I would have tolerated if they SPLIT the show and did a half Kinect (even though THAT would have been too much).

  • I'd really like to see the Gears prequel info.
  • I'd LOVE to be surprised with an announcement from Rare about a KI3 which is LONG overdue, especially now that Capcom (and even Midway) has really brought back fighting games.
  • I'm hoping to see something about the successor console....some sort of a window on release would be good. Doubt we'll see price, hardware, or specs - I think this time around, they can out-wait Sony and see what the Ps4 will entail before they let the info out.

For crying out loud though, keep the Kinect stuff to a minimum this year guys...please. :eek:
 
I'm pretty sure it's going to be heavily Kinect based with an exclusive or two thrown in. Frankly anything less than the announcement of Xbox 3 would be a disappointment. I would like to see them bring out more children oriented games for Kinect for my son (AGE: 2-8) because that really is the only target age for the entire system minus the Halo elite.
 
$10 it's going to start with a Halo 4 trailer, continue to sales charts, then 50 minutes detailing kinect and xbox smart glass software, and then end with the Gears of War prequel trailer.

edit: And special celebrity cameo appearance by Chris Hemsworth (Avenger's Thor) describing his excitement for the upcoming kinect software.
 
I'm going to hope and pray for next-gen system. Looking at the 360 and PS3 is getting harder by the day.

More Kinect, more Halo, another Gears of War...I hope they come out with a surprise. Lord knows they need to do better than a year ago.
 
Tomb Raider looks pretty cool. Clearly Crystal Dynamics took some cues from Uncharted.

Honestly, from what I am seeing it looks completely absurd and ridiculous. Like everything is just one big stream of...nonsense, basically.

Roll down a waterfall, fall into a plane, grab parachute before glass breaks, oh no primary chute broke, pull emergency, somehow parachute into/through a bunch of trees...

Wtf.

EDIT: I saw the beginning of the trailer for LocoCycle and thought, "OMG, new Extreme-G game?!" Alas, no. :(
 
Yep its an action oriented RE game. At least it looks like you're not dealing with a forced AI partner in single-player this time.
 
Theres so much damn cinema in things its not even like playing a game anymore. Its like a stream of quicktime events.

Not sure if that game will even be fun, but the biggest problem I have, whenever they demonstrate a Kinect game, is that it could be cool or really fun but the way they deliver it is so lame. Like her talking back to the characters who are talking to her about her shots, as if it matters to the game. Ugh...
 
I've found the IE + Kinect announcement the most exciting thing so far.
 
Loved the RE demo massive frame drops, low restextures and qte's everywhere. Modern console gaming at its best.

There are a lot of retail people there as well. E3 is a business event as well as a a press event.
