That is EXACTLY wat I was going to say. It's the truth. In-game will never feel the same as the cinematics.....NEVER. Even if the graphics were EXACTLY the same in-engine, it would sill look and feel different from the static character movement, animations, as they would all be the same and predictable. That's not the case in cinematics....they are not going to use the same animations in the cinematics because it wouldn't be as beleievable or "real looking". You can't get that same effect in-game as it would be confusing for the player. This is why we all know that the Killzone PS3 video was not in-game. Because movements were not predictable, they were always different and changing. It would be interesting for developers to do something like that, but ultimately wouldn't be significant.chameleoneel said:the in game will look that good, it just won't have the same "feel" or seem as cinematic as the "cinemas" or "videos because you can't exactly play a game while using cinematic camera angles and in camera effects. heh.
What do you want? To move the camera around in-game to create your own P.O.V. while at the same time pushing a combo of buttons to make snake slowly pull out a cigarrette and push another button to light it while you're pushing more buttons to make his bandana flow while at the same time controlling the soldiers walking down the street as well as the mechs? Come on, none of that can be controlled by YOU in-game, that's the reason it's a video and not you playing....but what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't matter, and things will always look more realistic in a cutscene even if it is in-game. It's all in camera and character movement.
