Meltdown/Spectre impact on performance?

OS Version 1709, Build 16299.125

I'm seeing an average 10% drop in performance according to Samsung Magician. This is more of an observation than scientific experiment. I'd need to flip back and forth between disk images to verify those before and after results.

fyi, I am not BIOS updated, yet...

At this point, I'm willing to accept things and move on. Yeah, it sucks, but what can your really do? Running un-patched isn't exactly sane.

As a side note, I'm not seeing much impact if any on the CPU side of things. Then again, I doubt this is the end of the patching.
