4k is super demanding so no.. on a lot of modern demanding games you are lucky to get 60 or 75fps average with all the bells and whistles turned on graphically and that is with a top end gpu. With your scenario, you would have to push 120fps SOLID .. that is, your minimum frame rate would have to be 120fps to avoid any frame rate fluctuation. Fluctuating frame rates with no compensating tech causes judder, and when going over the top Hz of the monitor in (actual ranging, not just average) frame rate it causes tearing. Usng V-sync adds a lot of input lag and if using double buffered v-sync can cut your frame rate in half when your frame rate can't match your monitor's max refresh rate.
