Hello guys
today i bought Dell u2412m.
After some minutes of use my eyes become very tired.
I have dual monitor configuration, with my old Dell u2311h. If i move the page i m reading to the u2311h screen i can verify the reading its much more easy, and relaxing. After move it back to new dell u2312m, the pain back... its hard to read in this display.
I know the u2311h is (CFL) and u2412m is (LED), its normal to feel this?
Anytihng i can do?
Can you advice some good monitor for my "problem"? 1920x1200 ips with CFL

Are you dimming down the brightness on the u2412m substantially? This could be PWM flicker which is much more apparent as the flicker in less Hz as you dim down the display. I have to keep my LCD at 100% brightness in order to not get eye-strain. Control brightness through the NVIDIA control panel.

Or a very high PWM frequency LED display like hp zr2440w or a PWM free one like dell u2713hm though its a bit more expensive.
Waiting a month for the dell 2413h is an option as well as it will likely be PWM free.

Asus PA246Q

Thanks,
For that price, i have to be sure its not going to hurt my eyes.
The dell Dell u2311h its the perfect example, what is a safe display for me.
Do i m going feel the same experience with the Asus PA246Q?
Thanks
