HP L2335 23" 16ms 1920x1200 LCD.

Widescreen? I've heard of it... too bad nVidia engineers never did...

I got numereous 172x's that will be hanging in portrait (3x4) either side of my 2405FPW as of early next week. Plus my laptop is 15.4 WS.. so that makes me widescreen primarily i guess..

Apple 23 inch HD monitor(adc to dvi adapter) running 1920x1200

I have 2 non-widescreen notebook though(well i have more but these are the main ones)

question, if you have a widscreen monitor and your playing a 4:3 game, Counter Strike in my case... will the image be stretched or just black bars on the side? If black bars, how annoying is that?

It won't be stretched if the game supports WS. CS:S has the option to choose 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10. If the game doesn't support WS, you have the option of choosing the black bars or stretching the image in your display properties.
