3 GoW costumes and map pack. I am just wondering if I ordering LBP from somewhere else will I be able to get them later (legally or illegally). Gamestop is the last place I want to order my games at.
 
Easy solution: pre-order the game, get your pre-order stuff, and then cancel your pre-order the next day. If they do something weird like include the pre-order stuff with the game on delivery, well, just return the game and keep the pre-order stuff.
 
Just don't wonder why Gamestop employees act the way people say.

It's a no win situation. Gamestop is a lousy store with lousy policies, but screwing them back is only going to make it worse.
This stuff will be available elsewhere with some trickery I'm sure.
 
Even if it's a "good" store, I can always find new games else where for cheaper. Amazon for example, always cheaper due to no tax.
 
Youll be able to get them on ebay. Im selling my brochure on ebay since Im not a fan of god of war. Thats the only reason I preordered it, Gamestop is the scum of the earth but I figured this would be a hot ebay item since its gone forever once the game comes out. Who knows how much theyll be selling for though, it would kick ass if I could cover the cost of most of the game.
 
I have a pre-order card from a couple weeks ago but it just mentions one Kratos in-game costume, no bonus levels or extra ones. Will my code give these or do I need to go back down to the store to get these?
 
I'm not sure what value they'll have. I'm sure most people will want to create their own style for their sackperson, running around as Kratos isn't very appealing to me.
 
Im confused by the gamestop employees as well

Im a former EB employee and we treated customers.... better than I have ever seen. Than when EB bought out GS.... its been a steaming pile of BS from them.... I dunno.... Values dont exist anymore
 
Amazon gives you a $10 gift card and Circuit City gives you a $15 gift card... i'll be ordering from one of them most likely...
 
I honestly don't know what the big deal Gamestop is, I guess I lucked out with my local GS. When I went in to preorder my copy of LBP the manager said that they had ran out of the preorder bonus and did not know if they were going to be restocked on them. Without asking he said started calling other stores in the area and while he was on hold he told me that if neither of the stores had one that he would bring in the one he had at home from his preorder for me. Luckily one of the GS's down the road had one and I was going that way on an errand, so I picked it up later in the day.

Today when I was back at the mall picking up some clothing, I happened to walk by the manager as he was heading to the parking garage and he stopped to make sure that I did get my preorder code for the LBP bonus content. I guess it pays sometimes to be a loyal customer. I have been shopping that GS since it had been an EB. They have always had a great staff.
