Kerbal Space Program 2

[polonyc2]

looks like the new developer for the sequel didn't understand what made the first game so well received

Yah, the game is broken and abandoned. It should not be for sale.

Biggest shame is how there is nothing as an alternative.

The original KSP and Juno New Origins are both absolutely solid "alternatives". Its not like there is no other space game like this. Juno is surprisingly awesome, used to be called Simple Rockets 2 IIRC.

I unfortunately bought KSP2 a while back, and while I only have 30 minutes or so in it, I cant get a refund. Oh well.

Yep, Steam denied my refund bc I purchased too long ago as well.

Wow, I had no idea this game ended up in such a poor state.

Other thread on KSP2

The entire development team was let go on June 28 this year. The original developer Squad sold the IP to Private Division, and Private Division gave it to Intercept. Intercept had no idea how to develop a sequel for the original game, apparently not understanding what made it fun.
