Kerbal Space Program 2

looks like the new developer for the sequel didn't understand what made the first game so well received

The original KSP and Juno New Origins are both absolutely solid "alternatives". Its not like there is no other space game like this. Juno is surprisingly awesome, used to be called Simple Rockets 2 IIRC.

I unfortunately bought KSP2 a while back, and while I only have 30 minutes or so in it, I cant get a refund. Oh well.
