I'm torn... PS3 or 360?

I skipped through most of this thread... mainly because I've been awake for the past 30hrs or so and I'm extremely tired. Anyway.. I would go with the PS3 because it's far more powerful, comes with blu-ray, free wireless, and has GT5 coming to it. I just think it's an all around great system. Thats just my 2 cents.
 
i would get the 360 purely so u can play the latest games weeks before the release. fallout 3 and far cry 2 is out
 
Fury, if you have a PS3, I have a couple extra LittleBigPlanet beta codes if you want to try it out.

Everyone else. Pay no attention to the fanboys (pretty much anyone that tells you one console is better than the other unless you have very specific needs) and get which has the games which you like best.

People like arguing I guess. I don't get the constant threads either. Casual fans can go right with either console, and hardcore fans should be able to find enough exclusives on each side to justify both.

Look at the list of games, decide which appeal more, buy. Threads such as "I just bought x, what games should I buy?" are just as bad... who buys a system without deciding which games they want first? I could see threads like that over at AVS but not here in a gaming sub-forum.

Aside from the fact that the PS3 is more expensive than the 360, look at what your getting.....
A) The system doesnt crash and give you red rings of death!
B) no RED RINGS OF DEATH
C) no RED..... RED.... RED..... RROD!
D) Your not paying to play online with friends, no monthly fees!
E) Blu-Ray!!!! :)

This is my point of view and mine alone, if you dont like it..... im not forcing you to listen to me! :)

1)Actually im seeing much more disc read errors from the ps3's ,had a handful of friends get it already after they were making fun of the RROD and BAM disc read error. KARMA?
2)You got us with the paying part but you do get what you pay for and LIVE looks superior if you as me.
3)As for blu-ray you got the xbox there , how ever i nor any of my friends really care for blu-ray. I dont feel the need to watch blu-ray movies , and all my friends have like 2-3 blu-ray movies whoopty do. Of course that doesn't apply to everyone but in my circle of people i know with ps3's Blu-ray isn't important yet.
 
I bought a PS3 for it's folding at home built-in.
My choice is always going to be a PC for gaming, but while it's folding I have a choice to game on the PS3. :p

 
I had all 3 systems, now I just have the Wii and PS3. I can't really decide, but I'll go with the PS3 since it has the blu-ray feature. The 360 died on me :(
 
360 for the online experience.

also, the controller feels nice in your hand.
i think the only reason ps3 didnt switch their controller design is to keep it identifying with the older playstation systems, which were always the best.

hurts mah hand if i play too long

How could you forget about the YLOD (Yellow Light of Death) on the PS3? That is running rampant now on the PS forums.

not as bad as the rrod mate and the turn around for refurbs is days not weeks. heck sony will take ur broken ps3 AND replace it right then and their with a refurb that works like a brand new one:D

my mate had a broken ps3 two fridays ago and in the following monday he recieved a refurb and they took his old one. talk about next day service :)

o and most YLOD can be fixed by reformating your hdd so try again;)

I haven't been seeing that fast of turn around. In fact, I know of two people personally that have been waiting 6 weeks for their PS3 to return (one of them lives in Australia, the other in the U.S.).

No...no formatting of the HDD fixed their problems. That is a rare fix, that hasn't worked for the majority. Nice try...try again :D

Thats in austalia, over here in europe its been fine
