I recently installed Server 08 with the intention of using it as a workstation. I was playing around with Hyper-V, but I notice that by simply having the role installed, and not even running a virtual machine, the use of the main OS becomes very sluggish, anything that might be *slightly* graphically intensive (such as scrolling a page in a browser) causes the system to really struggle. Uninstalling the role brings things back to normal. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, have any of you found a fix for it? Overall I like server 2008 quite a bit; even if it isn't quicker than Vista, it sure feels like it is (which is enough reason for me to use it), however it'd be really nice to get Hyper-V to function properly. Thanks in advance for the help!
