HTC One Watch Thread

4.3 update fucked my bluetooth up. Have to turn it off and on to get it to connect to my truck now.
I'm having a bug where apps that I've disabled notifications of return upon restart. Have to reset it every time. BT has no difference if not better. My BT4.0 devices are not in my own possession. The ex took them...

Been trying to sell my Sprint HTC 1 since June. My god, is nobody interested in getting it off me?

I'm sure it's the Sprint part that's keeping them from buying it. I know it's unlockable, but you're not going to get LTE on any other carrier with it. Sprint is probably the worst carrier to sell used phones for since they're CDMA, like Verizon, but their network and user base is significantly smaller, therefore you have a smaller market.

Technically speaking Sprint's model of the HTC One got all the 2G and 3G needed. And it might be more world LTE friendly.

Hi guys,

I have an HTC One for 5 months. I needed to send my HTC One to warranty, because there was a problem with USB. They changed also the screen.

This screen is killing my eyes. They hurt really bad when looking at the HTC One. Didn't happen before...

My screen:

m7_panel_init panel ID = PANEL_ID_M7_SHARP_RENESAS_CMD
m7_panel_init: PWM IC version A2

I dont know if the PWM it's about Pulse-width-modulation, so i just wanted to check. First i tried with shutter speeds of 1/25 and 1/8. Nothing all smooth.

So i tried 1 second, even if it didn't make any sense, and to my utter suprise i found this:
low brightness

this not make any sense... i count 10 lines. This means PWM of 10hz?????

This is really weird... Shouldn't i notice on naked eye?

Then i tried full brightness:

This PWM is really strange... around 10Hz. altough i dont understand if the light fully stops or not.

What puzzle's me it's the led's on the bottom of the phone also appear to have this frequency, so maybe it's just me, who's just doing something wrong.

Now in this 2 pictures:

i you could see the polorised effect, but with colors. Live it's much more visible then on photo. If put the glasses and watch my monitor 27'' LED i just see white or black as i move my head... but on the phone it's full of rainbow colours...

Hmm... Some sun glasses are polarized... It's like wearing a 3D glasses.

Looks like EU HTC One already got their KK update and the US will be getting it next Wednesday.

Unsurprisingly, the other BIG competition is mum about the subject.

Just got Verizon HTC One 4.4.2 Kit Kat update ota. This phone is getting the love still.

Well I hope so, the Verizon One just came out in August, only less than six months ago, it better get Android 5.0 this Fall, and up to 5.3 in 2015.
