Hi,
Currently, I have my E8400 OC'd to 3.6ghz using a 9x and 400Mhz FSB, however, with a 1:1 ratio, my RAM is running at 400Mhz.
My ram is actually rated as PC2 8400 1066Mhz RAM. Is there a way to set it back up to those speeds with my current overclock using a 400Mhz FSB?
I'm thinking it has somthing to do with the DRAM frequency and FSB Strap settings in the BIOS, but I need a little enlightening on how to set those/what to set them to.
Is it actually better having it at a 1:1 ratio? will I have much of a performance gain if i were able to get my RAM running back at 533Mhz speeds?
Thanks
