I have just created an account because I wanted to post some pictures to a specific thread http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=989658 However, when I go to post reply ( not quick reply) it does not give me an option. In fact in the bottom right corner is specifically says you may NOT post attachments. I tried using the image link to link to photos I have on flickr but when I do this it doesn't show anything. Can anybody help. I read the FAQ, but it says use the attachments function but I do not have it. Is this because its a new account? Thanks :)

Click the image icon (it's a picture of 2 mountains with a sun, 7th along normally) and then post the image URL.

Or you can use the tag:
[IMG]picture URL
On any photo sharing site.......

you can choose to link the photo directly, or copy and paste the link.

as said above IMG will post photo directly.

photobucket also gives the option of thumbnails.:D

TEST to see if i've got it working

Just remember that we don't allow hotlinking here. That's when you use an image hosted somewhere that you don't have permission to use, like finding it on another website you don't own and just copying the URL for the image directly from them. Always use either a site you own or are allowed to use, or an image host like imgur/photobucket/etc..
