How Bad is Your Backlog?

Mafia II and Metro 2033 are the only two I haven't finished, yet. But I don't really want to complete either, anyhow...

Probably just a few achievements I want to get in SC2, also :)
 
it would take too long for me to compile a list. with all the console games i've accumulated over the years plus my growing steam collection, now add a full time job and raising a kid into the mix and leaves way more games than time to play them.
 
Even more sad is looking at a game and debating to buy it or not then seeing the message "you already own this game" 0_o happen twice today lol

I've noticed, if I buy a game at release, ill almost always complete it in a week or so (apart from fallout new vegas, but I spent something like 120hrs wandering around not really doing the quest, as thats never the most fun thing to do).

If I buy games from the steam sales, or packs of games, ill most likely play for a few hours, or never even begin...

LOL, hasn't happened to me yet, but give me a few years and maybe that will be me too.
 
i'll put it this way. more than once I see interesting games on sale, click the links, and see I already own them....

I've actually noticed that happening with me once or twice, lol signs that my backlog is starting to get to big and I only have around 130 titles on steam so far (some games spawn multiple titles though).

Edit Out of my around 130 titles only about 21 have I actually played enough to consider finished or got my money's worth if it was multiplayer games etc.

Just Beat the first boss deal on Serious Sam HD First Encounter. This is my first experience with a serious sam game. HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT WAS HARD. Its the room where you first the double barrel shotgun. Fucking wave after wave of Skeleton Horse dudes. Was completely ridiculous. Took me like a million tries. Anyway heres to slowly but surely cleaning out the backlog.

Lol, I still have games from the steam sale 2 years ago that I haven't played.
 
Pretty long at this point. If I stop buying games now, it will be sometime early next year b4 I get through it.

A partial list is: Fear 2, Fear 3, AvP, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, Hydrophobia, Red Faction Armageddon, NFS Shift, Shift 2. Grid 2, Dirt 3, Batman Arkham City, F1, NFS Hot Pursuit, GTA IV complete edition, Just Cause 1 and 2. And I still plan to buy DNF when it is cheap enough and DeusEx once it launches, if it does not turn out to be crap.
 
Started playing Bad Company 2...haven't finished Fallout NV, and barely started Batman AA. Damn you Battlefield!

I'm trying not to get any more games until I at least finish those two. Steam tempted me a lot, but I refused!

Oh yeah, Just Cause 2 plus a backlog of racing games - Dirt 2, GTA 4, NFS Shift...fuck me.

Too much of a good thing ... we are spoiled bastards I guess!

Pretty much. I always try to play my other games but it never fails that I return to Oblivion to play through more mods.

Oblivion is kinda funny though that there's been so much content modded for Oblivion that I bet someone could easily spend over 1,000 hours trying to play it all...

I did play 2 hours of Amnesia tonight though. that is one spooky game and literally the only game that I've been freaked out when I'm actually playing it.
