Ha yeah I just bought a Gigabyte Aorus 2070 super for $589 but it’s the highest factory OC and best looking card out there, so I can see the price premiumDamn, price drop and a better version. I recall paying $550 (including tax) for the plain 2070 last year.

That's $40 more than I paid for my 2080 Super . $449 is pretty reasonable. $500+ is not for these cards IMO when you compare price/performance other cards.
I agree. I paid less for my 2080 super also. That's $40 more than I paid for my 2080 Super . $449 is pretty reasonable. $500+ is not for these cards IMO when you compare price/performance other cards.
Nobody here paid less than 550 bucks for a brand new 2080 super.
What are you talkin about? You flat out said you paid $40 less than that for a 2080 super.Pay attention. He said he paid $589 for a 2070 Super.

You still are not making any sense. It was a typo that was fixed within seconds and even when you quoted me it said 550. And you referred back to his comment about paying 589 for a 2070 super when I was referring to you and the other person talking about 2080 supers and you specifically saying you paid $40 less. So again no one is paying 550 bucks for a brand new 2080 super. You said $450 and edited it. $550 is within the realm of possibility. 450 is not.
2070 super should handle anything maxed out 1440p and keep it in free sync range. Not bad, but waiting on next gen, I'd like high gfx on 1440p and high res, ain't going to get that for $300-$500 this time aroun.d
Is that 40 FPS and above? If so then you will have to turn down a setting or two in a couple of games such as Control, Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Red Dead Redemption 2 as those minimums will certainly drop below 40.2070 super should handle anything maxed out 1440p and keep it in free sync range.
Seems like a optimization thing. I’ve played 2 of those 3 but on Xbox one x lol.Is that 40 FPS and above? If so then you will have to turn down a setting or two in a couple of games such as Control, Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Red Dead Redemption 2 as those minimums will certainly drop below 40.
Partly so but it also just comes down to a couple of settings in some games being very demandingSeems like a optimization thing. I’ve played 2 of those 3 but on Xbox one x lol.
