I guess I'm only assuming but I'm thinking his desktop is not very mobile. How else are you supposed to game at a hotel after having a shameful night of fun w/ a prostitute?
 
I travel a lot for work. Something like this is perfect if I'm in the middle of nowhere. I have G73JH and it's been great for just that reason. This is a great deal.

Good deal for a nicely-built gaming laptop. Might want to hold off a bit though as nV and AMD will be releasing their new cards soon (which likely explains this price drop).

Hot is a good savings of about 50% or more. Yes its understandable that the price of a sale wont go down as much if it is already expensive. Had this been 1k, then i would consider it hot, $600 off? That would be hot.
 
Wonder if they would sell it without WinBlows 8.1? I would be happy for a price cut if I can install Windows 7 64bit ultimate instead.
