this can go both ways, sadly you engage insane mode all the time turning every thread into a windows 8 thread regardless

LOL

This coming from you, posting all of your cat/anime/linux pics all the time.
Why can't you be more mature like SkribbelKat and I. :D

Are you suggesting you want a cat thread? that can be easily achieved!
we have technology

You quite literally sometimes troll to the point of insanity where someone tells you the truth and then you make something up in your head, that's when your trolling becomes disturbing actually...

That post reminds me a lot of the "you're a coward" thing from the Windows 8 thread you self-destructed earlier. Also, why on Earth were you posting on Christmas of all times? Don't you have a family or something? (No, not the family of tablets, either. :p)

You do realize the difference between a wacom digitizer and an ipad touchscreen is like comparing writing with a .3mm lead pencil and a fat tip sharpie. Yes you can use both to input text, but it doesn't mean crap when you can only fit a couple font size 30 words on your screen.... Seriously you are completely wrong, just stop speweing your misinformation.

I've actually owned a Wacom tablet. :) And yes, the not-a-screen is pretty awesome. However, writing on a screen is still writing on a screen. It uses a plastic stick, battery operated (maybe vibrating ;) ) or not, and the computer accepts input and turns it into commands just like a Palm Pilot did before most of us were even born. I know feels good to make it out to be something gloriously amazing, but it's not and it's a lot more efficient to just learn how to type and dump in text with a keyboard. It's faster and there's no OCR conversion to worry about messing up stuff or software training necessary. Keyboards are pretty much at Apple's level of magical because they just work right and no one has to worry about swinging around the Wacom-penis-is-bigger brand thing to feel good about it. Sure that robs the situation of a lot of the newness and magic, but it's realistic even if it is kinda a buzz-kill.

So multiple people tell you don't have a clue about Wacom digitizers and now you bring up my family? Seriously dude, you didn't know what you were talking about then and you don't know what you're talking about now. Just drop it.

So, you're saying a Wacom doesn't use a pen to enter data on a screen and the fact that it doesn't makes it better. Gotcha.

You simply were saying stuff that just wasn't accurate and this last statement makes no sense.

Let's recap:
----------------
I said a Wacom device uses a plastic stick to enter data into a computer. To explain extras just for you're apparent not getting it thing that you're on right now, I mean that poking a screen with a plastic stick is poking a screen with a plastic stick regardless of the brand name of the company's technology involved.

You said that I'm completely wrong.

Obviously that means that Wacom devices don't use a plastic stick and don't input data in to a computer.
----------------
Obviously you're having an intentionally herp-derp moment so you can move the discussion away from your infatuated holiday postings and buy time so you can get enough responses to avoid admitting that a Wacom device uses a plastic stick and some sensors to accept data. It's okay that you're doing this to escape having a rational discussion, I guess. This is a page straight from the "heatlesssun manual of maintaining a delusional mental state" after all. ;)

This is completely and utterly incorrect. How can a plastic stick support mouse hovering and have mouse buttons.

So there's no plastic in the stick? That's funny, I remember mine having a lot of plastic in it, but then again, I wasn't using it for 20+ years so maybe I missed something. Maybe it was made of carbonite and had Hahn Solo inside it.

A straw is a plastic stick, I wonder why it doesn't support mouse hovering or have mouse buttons. Calling a Wacom pen a plastic stick completely leaves out the fact that it contains electronics and that those electronics are designed uniquely, it's not like a capacitive pen where any old one will do. You can't substitute a Wacom pen with an N-Trig. The pen in the Surface Pro could also not substitute a Wacom pen.

So..mouse buttons have no plastic in them either. Maybe they're unobtainium or made from pixie dust and unicorn rainbow magic! You should totally go do like a full video review on this for some hard-hitting heatless intertubez journalism!

This coming from you of all people.
How about we show the audience what your real workstation is:

MWAHAHAHA!!!!

No, and a Wacom pen isn't a plastic stick.

True, it's made of carbonite, bits of Hahn Solo, and unobtainium, obviously! There's no plastic in it and, as heatless insists, it doesn't act as an interface device for a computer since saying that was nonsense!

MWAHAHAHA!!!!

Too many screens. Skribbels are not fans of multiple monitors. Also, there are totally pics of my only desktop already posted in the case modding part of the forum. Which runs Skyrim at ULTRA SETTINGS! Rawr! :)

Oh please, you have a platypus on top of your computer.
And a My Little Pony wallpaper, LOL.

That's Perry and he's awesome! Also, MLP is semi-fun to watch though I completely rejected the idea until one of the guys at work was like, "Skribbel, go watch that on NetFlix because it's totally you!" So I did and it's not bad. ^^

Here's one made not of carbonite but carbon fiber: http://www.wacom.com/en/products/stylus/bamboo-stylus-feel/carbon

Keep on trolling if you wish but again but not one thing you're saying is accurate.

Non-standard model. Besides, we are talking about the Surface Pro. I'm not even sure why you're trying to change the subject by bringing unrelated stuff into this thread. You're weird.

I want one for my apartment so that when the people who live near me come over to ask for stuff, they get eaten by an octopus.

I was thinking along the lines of that Japanese thing, but yes, I guess they could "eat" your guests. ;)
