Hard Disk detecting only after restart.

If it's still under warranty there's no reason not to try getting the manufacturer to help. They might just want to swap it out.

Get one of these and power it from one of the splitters to see if it spins up for you and is recognized by the controller.

if you have that 4tb drive as the only drive in the system, connected to the main sata port (sata 0 usually) and you try to install an OS onto it via a USB installer drive, does the drive show up, let the OS install, and work after reboots and/or shut down, power ons?

Guys, stop telling him to do all this stuff.

Just replace the drive. Easy as that.

I do this stuff day in and day out.....

Maybe he doesn't want to replace it and just wants it to work. Try the power cable I pointed you to that will allow an NAS drive to work as a normal drive, if that doesn't work then you'll likely need a replacement.

I had sent the drive to be tested. The drive is working fine.

According to article above, windows does not detect hard disk above 2TB when the bios is in legacy.

I converted my SSD to GPT and changed my bios to UEFI.
The 4TB is already in GPT.

The problem is not solved.
I have to continue restarting my pc in order to use the 4TB.

Edit: I need to mention that there was an error during after the conversion. Please check the image below.
