I used GC but don't have my tracking number yet and am in the same status as you. TD shows shipped. Only way to get the tracking number is if you ordered it through a TD account. GC is supposed to forward the tracking information to us but I have not received it yet. I'm not worried. It's shipped and if it departed from IL, I may have it Friday. :D
 
hey good news guys. if you used google checkout, and havent received an update on your tracking, call them up directly and ask for it. the csr rachel was very nice and helpful, and gave me my tracking #. gc doesnt get updated as quickly on the tracking as one would like so give it a shot. mine left today as well from IL.

does anyone know whats the time range for delivery using the standard shipping method ($10)?

Lucky :p My $800 order says backordered still, $30+ shipping for 4 cards...And I got the order in pretty early too :(, cards charged no response back from TD.

You can take the order number from Google checkout and paste that into the order number on TD and it will give you the status.

3-7 days for ground.

It shipped from illinois for me today, so hopefully i'll get lucky and itll be here friday (its one state over!).

Cool, mine shipped as well. I have a feeling that those that bought a ton of these just to profit on ebay will run into some market saturation as tons of other will also throw theirs up on ebay and considering that newegg lowered their price I don't know how many fish will be biting at the high prices.
 
It does not make since. My Paypal account still says pending. Usually when a company ships a product my Paypal transaction would be complete. So far nothing has been withdrawn?

If I happen to get one I will just sell it to someone who needs it on here. It will be for what I bought it for plus a little extra for my time. I can always keep it for myself since with this price, there is no lost to me. G'luck everyone.

Ok update on mine. After 30 mins on the phone i got offered the bfg version. I told them i wanted the EVGA version and they aggreed. Card is now being shipped.

Too bad they charge you the full price for BFG version...They said the same thing for me then told me my total was almsot $500 more!

They didn't charge me any extra. I still got the same price as the other deal. They did tell me after me everyone else would be getting refunds.
 
Well they would not match the cards for me, they once again told me it would cost me about $500 more to go to BFG version, even if I only needed one card they would not do it. At this point I think I jsut want my money back and the 4 hours of my life they ripped me off for.

edit; guy from yesterday called me back, told me they could change my order to 4 GT's for the same price... What a deal, but more of an insult! Told them to cancel my order and I would never order from them again since a) people who ordered after me were able to get their cards, and b) they were not able to even sell me 1 alternate GTS for the same price although they were able to do it for others. BB and Tiger Dirgect are now both shitlisted.

I'm getting prettuy discouraged by the Hotdeals forum, I have wasted over 10 hours now, gallons of gas etc, hunting for deals and never get them. They have actualy cost me time and money, both of which amount to more than I would have saved on any particular deal.
 
Paypal transaction completed, shipment email notified, and rebate email notified, invoice viewable on TD. Looks like I'll be getting something in the mail soon. I still won't believe it until its in my hands.
 
but dont think just because its in your hands you still got a good deal. a friend of mine got a good deal on ram because of a mistake and td sent guys over his to house to take it back from him.

Almost regret not ordering, but I don't play enough games to justify it either :)

And I'd probably be better off with a GTX, just because I have a 24" monitor...

It's called deal hunting for a reason. You're hunting. If it were deer, and you didn't come home with anything, you'd say "better luck next time" and not yell at the deer for not jumping in front of your gun.

I agree, I've gotten quite a few deals on here, I'm starting to avoid all the ones at bestbuy because I'm always too late and just waste time/gas getting over there... but on internet websites it takes 10 seconds to order... if it's a pricing error, order gets cancelled.. or per-chance it goes through (like this one) then you just scored a good deal.

The other day someone posted some really cheap netgear stuff at office-depot, luckily I have one couple miles away, drove down and grabbed the last 3 off the shelf, $15 for 3 5port switches... walked out to my car and decided to go back in and see if they had any-more in the back, I happened to grab the last 3. Also got a Staples close-by that I'll probably check-out if other people post [H]otdeals regarding... but for Bestbuy/Circuit City/Office-Max or anything else I have to drive 15-20 minutes

It's fun too, atleast imo when you get a good deal, good way to bring in some side-money to fund overpriced gaming computers :D

Yea but when you order before other people, and your order says backordered, yet they get theirs this is not fair. When others are able to get item swapped to a similar GTS for instance, yet even though you ordered before other people whos items shipped but they are still not willing to do this for you it simply pisses me off... $#$#* TD never using them again.

Glad everyone else got a good deal though, I hope TD lost money on these.
 
with my 3rd copy of company of heroes. this one, one with an msi 8600gts and one (opposing fronts) that i won on nvidia sli zone. very suprised on how quick td shipping is. it didnt ship until wed nite at 2200 and got here (nyc) friday at 1500. also suprised on how thin the bundle is (besides the game) only 1 dvi/vga converter, 1 svid cable, one "do not disturb" sign, driver cd. i am not complaining, just expect more in non vanilla card.

Problem is, I bought an EVGA 8800GTS in the meantime, and have no need for this card. If I eBay it and want to transfer the warranty, do I have to register the card w/ XFX first?

Cancel your TD order? Though, you wouldn't be making any profit...

As far as I know, the card has to be registered within 30 days to get the lifetime warranty. I guess if you sell it before then, anyone that registers it would be considered the original owner--provided they have a receipt.
