Heh, I don't have a whole lot of respect for pre-mods nowadays but still, that Lanfire is pretty amazing.....I've never picked up an empty case before and LITERALLY almost tossed it off the table. It's almost TOO light.![]()
Heh, I can tell.....no offense.![]()

I guess if a person likes their case then that's all that matters but IMO, all those case badges, window molding, and white drives kinda bring down the look of the otherwise beautiful YY-0221.
Props to you for putting up with this huge behemoth of a case (I love mine) but I would have probably done quite a few things differently with those mods.
However, this is what makes case modding great, the variety of
people and cases involved is simply astounding.
I had no other way to mount the windows than with molding.
The white drives are a bad point, I know.
I wanted windows with Panaflo's so I put them in.
Honestly, I always thought my windows looked good. The case badge thing was just for fun.

Had to put them like that, the YY has the cross bar and the metal floppy bays and the fan wouldn't have cleared the other way
I took the door off because it just gets in the way. (I am sure you know, your a YY owner)
I put Panaflo's all the way around because I hate noise with a passion.
for the price hes asking no, its not that hot. its still high end, you cant get too much better.Originally posted by OCTech
It's a cool box, but I saw the final specs and they weren't that hot. It looks good, but the internals are nothing hot.

Actually, a sucking configuration can be just as effective as a blowing configuration. There is no "wrong" way.

It is backwards, when i took the picture i was testing how well it works when the fan is fliped.

It works a lot better blowing on the heatsink, atleast 3 degrees Celcius cooler.

Cool, as long as you can verify from experience it's all good. I hate people that just assume they're right.....whether they are or not.
