I doubt they'll mess with much since Tim Schafer is involved.I couldn't be happier. I love that game and while it's still technically playable, games like that just don't translate well to higher resolution and wide displays.
I hope they don't mess with much - just give me widescreen and high resolution support with the same voices and areas.

I'm excited about this, I lost my Grim Fandango CD's long, long ago.
I missed this somehow growing up. Odd too since I played tons of adventure games then. Glad I get a second chance.
The game is presented in its original 4:3 aspect ratio, but Double Fine is planning to add some widescreen options. Players can choose to simply stretch the screen out, but other options (like some screen filling art) are being considered, senior publishing manager Greg Rice said.
This assumes they actually release it.
I am very under-impressed with DF lately. They still haven't finished their KS game, the second act has been long missing, and they just stopped development on an early access title, leaving customers in a lurch.
I'll believe this remake when it is on the market.
GF updated for modern systems? Count me in. Now when I see the same for Loom, The Dig, TLJ, and some old King's Quest, I'll be a happy man.
That would be awesome, I'd have to add in Space Quest to that list.
Think film noire/fantasy with an excellent story, puzzles that will drive you crazy and characters that you will remember.
Sorry to be such a fan-boy, but I spent many hours on a 486DX4 back in the day, looking forward to the release.
