Grim Dawn Alpha starts tomorrow

Laid up sick last few days so I spent some time trying to farm the remaining two Korba set items I need with no luck. Game has dropped the same offhand axe 3 times in 2 days.. oh.. and 6 of these:

Running a few different equipment variables right now, this is the main:

I swap in a different chest armor with 55 Aether resist when I'm farmin crystals. Drops the DPS quite a bit but it beats getting burned down because you are not paying attention to where you are standing. :D
 
^45 million iron bits...I'm calling hax! :p And get those resists up!

*I just level 100'd my Spellbinder the other day. Very fun time, Krieg's set is absolute beast mode! Pretty much exclusive Aether damage with some trace amounts of other damage types sprinkled in. I'm currently at a 3345% aether multiplier, which means everything goes BOOM! very quickly. Also Fleshwarped strikes has a 40% chance at another +400% aether damage. Super satisfied with this one, well all my chars are pretty badass tbh 😎

Loot whoring pays off.. that and grinding 4 gear.. ;) I installed that mod for more bag space... helped a LOT.

Still learning the game really.. only my second character. I should have picked a build other than korba's.. the gorram drop rate on these set items sucks balls. Not farmable or predictable drops like some of the other build sets.
 
So they just released the Grim Dawn Version v1.2.1.6 update... so much for my Korba Trickster build... cold damage just took a kick in the junk... lol..

Damn! I hate when devs do shit like this. At one time all my chars got gimped and some of them pretty badly. Then I gotta go and spend hours and hours and hours getting them all back into shape because I'm ocd like that. So yeah srry for your loss :)

So as a normally melee in your face character, I started a dual pistol build a week ago. Not knowing what a purifier was, I ended up with this. Can face tank Kubakabra or whatever that beast nemesis is. Have finished first crucible 170 with no totems or buffs. Anyone feel like jumping in a multiplayer session for beers and farming some items?

Just tried out Gladiator cruicible for the first time. Made it to 100 and prob could have gone further but wanted to see how the drops were at 100.

2-1-3 build with physical, cunning, & spirit. Spirit is the main focus now that I've hit 20 in physical.
Main aim in devotions is damage. I definitely need way better gear but I'm doing well for where I'm at in the game (I think...).

I still hold true to the old Diablo 2 formula of only enough stats to equip gear and then all the rest in vitality....in this case Physique.
 
So when will they release grim dawn 2 ? Or maybe all these patches will eventually reach 2.0 ;)

It's so good now that if they didn't I wouldn't be mad. That said, I would love for them to own the current market with GD2!
 
Grim Dawn is mandatory ARPG consumption but my cheap ass has to wait for at least a 1% off sale to get it. The base game had a patch but I haven't fired it up yet. Maybe tonight.
 
It’s just an amazing game. It’s surpassed all others for me personally as far as arpgs go. Play it, get into it, and you’ll realize how shitty everything else is. Well, path of exile is pretty damn good too to be fair.

I'm kinda Grim Dawn'd out at the moment, currently sitting at ~1300 hours into it. The new class seems kinda boring to me also, no offense. I'll most likely pick it up at some point but not really interested in it right now. I can't imagine all the OCD this will bring with all the new items and things added. I'm gonna have to go back and fiddle with all my old chars and get them updated so I can never play them again at all :p
