Do you have a pic showing them side by side? I couldn't find a review of it myself with detailed specs. XFX has a few similar models in this category on their website and the difference seems to be the cooling fans and such but the overall pcb board lengths seem to be the same so I'm guessing its 8.5 inches like the others. I could be wrong but I doubt its more than 8.5 inches. What are you wanting to put it into?
any decent half-height gpu's out there? Last I remember, powercolor's 5750 was tops (>60fps in cod4 @ 1920x1200 at less than 80w).
hrmmm... it'd be tight fitting that on a 12.5A pico (w/ T-series SB), but sounds like a challenge![]()

You could follow this format, specifically for GPUs.Added mm to the post.
Regarding sharing the spreadsheet, do you have advice on how to best do this? I am also not sure if it would be THAT helpful because it's far from comprehensive. Of the 581 GPU models on NewEgg, I have measurements from 237 of them; less than half and NewEgg certainly doesn't stock every card on the market, but I'd gladly offer it, if I knew of a good way to do it.
Correct on the Frozr II. My Frozr III could definitely not be unlocked using any method. The Frozr III cant be unlocked. An MSI rep let that story out without verifying and later retracted it. I'll have to find that link later. Maybe the first rev of the card could but none of the current ones do. Unfortunately that misinformation is still getting around.
From what I understand the Frozr II CAN be unlocked. But without a BIOS switch it's risky. The 4fps boost isnt worth the chance of a brick. Overlocking to 6970 speeds (which it can do easily) is much better improvement.
EDIT:
Found the link: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18278371
Looks like someone figured out how to unlock it on page 3, but there aren't a whole lot of confirmations. Wow, that situation is a huge mess. I think I'll stick with my Frozr II. Plus the Frozr III won't fit in an SG05 due to the added shroud.

I made a large edit the post above. So I am bumping this up to the top.
Your post reminded me that I could format the data using html. I can't use html code in this forum, but I can host it using another site and share the link, which is what I have done.
Listed at the bottom is a link to the lengths of various graphics cards. This information came from Newegg. In their terms of service, I did not see a request to not compile and provide this information, but if I missed it and am breaking [H] rules please inform me and I will remove the information.
This is data for the following cards
NVIDIA
460
550 TI
560
560 Ti
570
AMD
5750
5770
6750
6770
6790
6850
6870
6950
This is data for 134 of the 228 cards listed at Newegg that were found when performing a power search for "retail" cards and the models listed above. Search was performed July 11, 2011
I compiled the information and turned the data into a table through "TABLEIZER!" and then I used "pastehtml" to host the table.
Below is the link.

Anyone know the length of the Gigabyte GTX 560 TI?
On Gigabytes official website and one of Swedens largest computer store it says 241mm but pretty much every rewiev I've looked at says it's 229mm.

should add power color 6770 at 7.18

very nice list

there is another option for a gtx 570, the evga 570 classified coming in a 9" with external exhaust and front facing power connection. just what i was looking for but the ventilation design might prove to be troublesome.
EDIT: turns out the 570 classified isnt 9" after all. more like 10.5". its a shame, would have been nice to have an EE 570 that would have fit in my q11.
Yeah, I spoke to an EVGA rep recently who stated that it was a mistake and that the card was actually GTX580 reference PCB, so 10.5".
On a side note, as well as the three GTX560Ti Palit models that are 7.4", there's also the Gainward models - both Phantoms and the Golden Sample editions.
The shortest GTX 560 Ti card from Club3D
GTX 560 Ti Green Edition
It has power connectors on top. It says in the specs that the length is 168 mm.
Very true.
I tried to include that fact by posting at the bottom:
"Gainward (Euro company) is owned by Palit and shares the same PCBs much of the time"
I'll gladly add them to the list, as I think the Gainward brand tends to be of higher quality than the Palit brand. Who is the largest retailer in Europe who carried Gainward cards?
