GPU lengths

Cant wait for next gen cards. as far as i can remember the lest generations of nvidias high end kards has all been at the GTX580: 10.5" / 267mm. but AMD makes the high end cards an inch to long

So if the HD6950 MSI twin frozr II fits in a SG05, could one assume the MSI twin frozr III fits (the twin frozr III according to MSI's website is 10mm shorter)

Frozr III is longer than the Frozr II due to the shroud being longer. Maybe MSI got the measurements mixed up. I doubt you'll get a Frozr III in there without doing some cutting as the II BARELY fits.

If you're wanting to get your hands on a nice GTX560Ti-448 then it looks like the Gainward is the one to go for...

http://www.gainward.com/main/vgapro.php?id=855

Product Size : 228mm x 112mm

I can't tell if the power connectors are on back or the top though.

[Edit] Gainward also claim that their stock GTX570, and the GS and GLH editions, are all 228mm too. Can anyone confirm the power connector orientation, as it would make them the shortest GTX570s if the power connectors were on top?

[Edit 2] The power connectors are on top...

So the Gainward is the new shortest GTX570, no?
