1. None of this is True. There is no release date, there is no plans on discounts and there is no plan to push VOIP only on these phones AT ALL. The only real information is the hardware itself.
2. This phone is leaps and bounds ahead of the iPhone in everything except its application market development which is coming along nicely.
3. No ATT 3G (Bummer I know) but the EDGE network works fine and the phone is fast enough to function as fast as it possible can on that network. On Wifi there isn't a phone that comes close to speed in terms of loading pages and downloading files
Believe what you want, but the OP information is totally bogus. If you think Google helped to start Android to get rid of US Carriers and plans on pushing just VOIP services you are in la la land.
