PCIe 4.0 May Come to all AMD Socket AM4 Motherboards

Interesting, wonder if the rev. 1.1 update had anything to do with PCIe 4.0 support?

I notice Gigabyte now has the AMD X470 AORUS Gaming 7 WiFi motherboard listed as a rev 1.1 - what did they update?

X470 AORUS GAMING 7 WIFI (rev. 1.1)

edit: The only thing different that I can see is -

(rev 1.0) ES9018 vs (rev 1.1) ES9118

I just returned my rev 1.0 version due to a back panel audio issue (supposedly the line out doesn't work right on rev 1.0) as MicroCenter also had rev 1.1 units available. One difference I noted right off the bat is the rev 1.1 has a "AMD Ryzen Desktop 2000 Ready" badge on the box, where as the rev 1.0 did not. I've not noticed any other physical differences but I'll report back if I find some...
