Looking forward to this one. Bought FH5 December 2024, a year later Steam says 590 hours played.
 
Can we please stop adding base building to games that shouldn't have it?

Can they also finally add volumetric tire smoke to the game, finally? It's so ridiculous to see what looks like puffs of moisture come off tires during drifting rather than smoke.
 
Its early and i hope this feature is finally in the game for all cars.

I end up spending decent amount of on all Forza games so given I am also paying monthly for gamepass, it is a no brainer that I will be there on day one. If I get 10-15 hours out of it - that's good enough for me.

Did you see that Microsoft has a $60 early access option? They'll probably have the game available for free via Game Pass but asking $60 to play the game 4 days early is insane to me.

I didn't see and I never pay for early access. But if someone wants to pay, more power to them.
 
It's this one finally going to have proper wheel support? FH4 was kinda shit in that regard, and I didn't buy FH5.

clearly harder than you think...
horizon is an arcade racer designed for controllers. you want sim, play a sim.
 
Ill be honest, keep your expectations low. This isnt going to be anything groundbreaking. Its the same engine they have been using outside of the changes they mention.

From what we have seen so far id say they put in a decent-ish effort but that can escalate to new heights or fall out of the sky completely depending on the map. I would be skeptical of the new sounds, very rarely do they ever fix the sounds. Its certainly alot more frequent that they screw up sounds, even going to the lengths of taking sounds that were fine and making them worse. I hope they do the updated models justice but like anything Forza it will probably be to little. The S15 Silvia has been screwed up since Motorsport 1.
