All them are paid off, democrats and republicans are the left and right arms of the same corrupted body. No ones votes count anymore. The whole system is fixed and rigged. Giving the government more power and control will be dangerous. America isn't the land of the free anymore. The America now today isn't the America the founding fathers were thinking about. We are turning into a dictatorship/socialistic state. Too people are too lazy to work and are asking for hand outs. Its bankrupting us now and theres only one way and thats a collapse. Eventually the money will be worth nothing. Somethings going to give and soon.

The only reason there is currently no incentive to improve infrastructure by telecoms is that they are allowed to offer you "UP TO xxMbps" while charging a flat rate. If I were allowed to pay my bill based on the lowest speed I recorded during the course of the month (prime time speeds regularly dip below 400KB/s, about 1/4 of my 15Mbps tier), prorated down from my theoretical limit, we'd see a lot more fiber being installed, because the telecom's massively overburdened lines would finally be costing them money.
