I always did (and still do in F76) use VATS to see enemies you can't see with your naked eye. You can hit VATS to see enemies in the distance, behind cover, hidden in brush, etc.

I don’t think I’m using VATS correctly in F76. I’m thinking it’s like FO4, but it’s not.
Btw this worked. I went to Fort Hagen or whatever and only stepped inside but everything was locked out. So I used the first 3 steps and dog showed up then asked him to smell the cigar and boom. Game fixed itself. Thanks again.1 Enter the console by hitting the ` key.
2 Then type prid 0001d162 and hit enter.
3 Then type moveto player and hit enter.
4 Then hit the ` key to close the console.
Dogmeat should reappear quick like.
If Dogmeat is still broken you can repeat steps 1-2 and then type removefromallfactions and type enter and exit the console, this should reset Dogmeat.
You can also advance Reunions by console commands but see if that works first.
I've had this happen to me a few times, and different scenarios would cause it and also fix it.

Could be something left over from previously installed mods.Any FO4 pro's familiar with this item?
Found it hidden away on a rooftop just east of Hangman's Alley. The effect doesn't seem to work (My AP didn't go up). No results on google.
On an unrelated note, when I was checking my active Perks for the rocket buff I also noticed I had one called "ImmuneToRadiation" which does at it describes, no idea where that came from either. Rolled back a save 10 minutes and it went away.

You can do it in any order that you choose, after the main quest you can still free roam to do all the DLC's later or you can do them before, your choice.Playing this game quite a bit. Finished off most of main quest and just built a big device that would put me to act 3.
Also finished 2 DLC / 4. Next up thinking about doing Far Harbor before I finish main quest. Nuka World apparently should be done after main quest? Is that right?
I am also fed up of saving settlements so I am skipping that now as it was becoming a bit ridiculous.
Game is so dated but somehow I got hooked. Only took 9 years.
You can do Nuka World any time you want, I just like doing it after the main quest because of how massive it is. I think it took me at least 20 hours to finish it the first time. That amount of time commitment would make me forget where I was and what is happening in the main quest.Playing this game quite a bit. It's almost definitely from a mod, I am using the Magnum Opus modlist which runs the pre-update version 1.10.63.Very cool!
If you are vanillia, I wonder if it is from the next gen update that hasn't been discovered yet? What is the base id for it, help Action Point Rocketship 4?
And like you, I haven't been able to even find a mention of it, anywhere.
The other one sounds like a mod I've had before, but I've had one play through that after having Goulish at an extreme level, that I became immune to radiation.
Well that explains everything. It's almost definitely from a mod, I am using the Magnum Opus modlist which runs the pre-update version 1.10.63.
I just found another rocket on a roof near the cultist people that says +2 Agility, which also doesn't work.
I am guessing they are disabled on purpose because they are OP.

Yes, it's one of the featured modlists on Wabbajack.Well that explains everything.
Is that from Wabbajack? I've heard of it but never used it.
Here are the points of no return for each faction. Some spoiler stuff below. Happy to get some guidance. Trying my best not to ruin it.
So I am at a quest for the institute where I need to get an agitator. Quest is titled Mass Fusion.
However, I wanted to get the minute man ending but seems there is no option and I don't want to side with other 2 factions.
So how do I do it then? wtf?
That seems really stupid. How was I supposed to know this? Here are the points of no return for each faction.
The MM ending requires you to be enemies with the institute/brotherhood. Did you try going to the Institute and pissiing them off? Shoot somebody lol
Brotherhood: Blind Betrayal underway, but not finished.
You can complete it all the way up to the last objective (report to elder maxson), but finishing Blind Betrayal starts Tactical Thinking automatically - which is the mission where you destroy the railroad.
Institute: Mass Fusion started, but not progressed at all.
Progressing in the quest will force you to make enemies with the brotherhood. (The game will warn you at the point where progressing will make you permanent enemies with the brotherhood)
Railroad: Underground Undercover started, but not finished.
You're expected to have this quest active while finishing Mass Fusion for the institute, and doing that will aggro the brotherhood on you.
Minutemen: Minutemen ending is essentially available forever and will just kick in once you make an enemy with either the brotherhood or the institute.
edit: Confirmed if you go to the Institute and shoot someone in the face the MM quest will appear immediately.
It's designed to be a failsafe to prevent you from being locked out of the ending. In other words if you piss off everybody, the MM ending saves you. That seems really stupid. How was I supposed to know this?
You should know by paying attention to the conversations you're having with the faction leaders and other faction members. All of them make no bones about who they do not like. That seems really stupid. How was I supposed to know this?
Are you serious? That's a easy one to come across if you scour every inch of coastline like I do.After playing this game 4 or 5 times I actually discovered a new side quest.
https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Here_There_Be_Monsters
At the start I thought it was added by a mod since I have never seen it before. The quest location is a bit isolated and the "tmm" console command doesn't seem to add it to the map, which is why I probably never found it.
The only reason I found it this time was because I was swimming from the Prydwen to General Atomics, and I saw a door in the water on my compass. Without that mod I still would have missed it!Are you serious? That's a easy one to come across if you scour every inch of coastline like I do.
I figured everyone would of found that because of the kid standing there. At least you found something new in your travels.
I don't think it appears to you talk to the kid, even though you can see the periscope raising up and down before you speak to him.The only reason I found it this time was because I was swimming from the Prydwen to General Atomics, and I saw a door in the water on my compass. Without that mod I still would have missed it!
I think it appears at some point during the game because I always type tmm 1,0,1 right after leaving vault 111 and it's never appeared on my map.
FO4 needs a Completion Checklist mod like Skyrim has.

Yes I dropped it a few weeks ago when they announced the patches.TaintedSquirrel
Did you give up on FOLON? I got about 170hrs in now at level 84, and I've discovered about 97% of the locations according to the Explorer perk and I'm now doing all the side missions that I've accumulated.
It's yuge!
Yes the last time I played was 2018, and SS broke my save before to got to the DLC.
I still haven't even finished the vampire DLC in Skyrim either...
The 100,000 tickets, what a PITA. Doing the crouching exploit on the basketball game it still takes 20-30 minutes of non-stop starting the game, crouching with the ball in the hoop, collecting the tickets, and restarting the game.

Well, damn, I feel like an asshole for complaining about the half hour grind now.I did the target range in one sitting to get the tickets. Tad over four hours with 10 minute breaks every hour. No mods to ass8st, either.
