external eSata - sata III enclosures available?

Are you planning on hooking up nothing but SSDs in a eSATA eternal enclosure? Because that's really all that eSATA 6.0Gb/s offers: greater room for SSDs to perform at their full speeds. For regular hard drives, regular ol' eSATA 3.0Gb/s is more than enough.

Cool thanks, this is what I came up with - decided to go with USB 3.0 instead of eSATA:

Western Digital Caviar Black WD2001FASS 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive (recertified)
Rosewill RX358 RX-358-U3B Full Aluminum Cover, metal tray 3.5" Black USB 3.0 External Enclosure
Koutech IO-ECU230 Dual Channel SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ExpressCard - chose this model since it comes with the needed 5v power cable (actually looks like the case I purchased might be able to power the drive and the fan, guess it is good to have the cable anyway)

The only way that case will work is plugged into a 110v wall socket.

You know that's for a laptop, right?

Just wanted to make sure because I didn't see "laptop" mentioned in your post.
