There are birds and insects!Holy.
Also, can anyone confirm if there are birds and insects in the game? LOL. This is weird, but I actually brought this up at the official forum when the game released in 2006, and man did I ever take a beating. Someone said, “Birds… the fuck are you talking about? Someone get this douchebag a bird.”
LOL. It’s weird that I still remember that. It just seemed like something the game should have because the world of Oblivion, at the time, felt so alive to me… the absence of birds and insects seemed weird.
How is this possible?! Game Pass and consoles suck up all of the players from Steam! /s
Surely if it wasn't for Game Pass and consoles there would be 1 million people playing it on Steam!?How is this possible?! Game Pass and consoles suck up all of the players from Steam! /s
This is definitely a modern UE5 Shell running over 20-year-old code. It's just as doofy as before, but it just looks WAY more modern.
Possible those mods still work!Has anyone figured out if the enemy scaling been fine tuned? Oblivion was infamous for brainfarts like poor bandits eventually starting to wear full on ebony and daedric sets, which makes no sense, and rats becoming monsters that gnaw your legs off in seconds. Mods like Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul which fine tune the enemy scaling and introduces limitations what gear enemies can have were almost mandatory back in the day.
Mods break between just updates of a game how could they possibly work on a full remaster? Skyrim mods didn't work on special edition either, and that was barely different.Possible those mods still work!
And this is why I'm waiting until there is full mod support or at least it can be confirmed that the game is not broken. But this looks like it's just a coat of paint.
