all right guys, simple rule:
get the best superPI 1m time you can, with one condition, cpu clock has to be 3ghz or less.
edit: due to confusion, round off the decimal. if for example you run at 3000.9mhz, that counts. 3001mhz does not. ;)

also!
please provide screens with the finished superPI run, cpu-z and a64tweaker so everyone can see what settings you've got :D


all of you with single core opterons should have a field day with this ;)

Maybe it should be < 3.001 ghz instead of < 3ghz? :p

Edit: I'm gonna fire up my 386, install Windows XP Pro on it, and then we'll see how long it takes to do this challenge...

dave, i was actually one of the very first guys to get an opteron way back in september, the legendary CABNE 0530APMW :cool:



also guys, use the msec modded version of sPI for an exact time

I'm getting 30.609s will my corsair value ram. But how do I capture the screen and save it?

what speed do you run your ram at?
 
Can't view yours. Did 30.250 with affinity to 1 core only. How do you capture results? Computer smart, me dumb.

Oh, so us non-A64 people aren't good enough for you? Fine, I won't bother with my XP-m@2.5 Ghz or Duron@1 Ghz or PIII@618. :p

hit the "print screen" button, then go to paint, then edit, then paste, then save
 
I have fraps and I still can't get a screenie of my time. :(

34.907 for a 1M super pi. I think my ram is my limiting factor at 2.5 3 3 7 timings.

Nooo!!!!!!!!!! All that hard work.... I hit print screen.... then shut my computer down before the vcore can do any dmg... then I remember I forgot to go into paint and save the pic lmao.

Anywho it did this with 1.65 vcore (prolly really like 1.75 or 1.8 under load, hence the fast reboot lol). 2863 mhz, mem at 261 with 2.5-3-3-7-15-15 2RW, 1T. One question though, is anyone else having problems with the mod version? Ive broke into the 29s in the normal version but in the mod version this is about as close to that as I can get.

press print screen, open up MSpaint, click edit, then click paste.
 
Ecplipse I feel like you're singling out us cool people who bought dual core opty's. Maybe we should have an encoding challenge instead ;)

reserving till I can get home to start overclocking my 170....
