I am looking for a GOOD set of earbuds to use for my Ipod along with day to day use with other devices what is a good set I can buy for less than $100.00?

Have you considered IEMs? Any reason you would prefer ear-buds instead?

If you want one of the best values under $300 even I can highly recommend these:

I know they are $39 past your budget but honestly they are an exceptional value at $139 and rival anything out there under $300.

Otherwise, you may want to look into these:

I do not have experienced with these though so you should check some reviews first.

If you want a bunch more options, you can't go wrong with just about any Ultimate Ears. They have IEMs ranging from about $30 to $1000.

Let me direct you to one of the most comprehensive and frequently updated thread about earbuds and IEMs. HERE

Prepare to be overwhelmed, but in a good way. You should be ready to make a purchase after reading that.

Monster Turbines are supposed to go on sale in a little less than an hour (3:45pst) on Amazon as a Lightning Deal. Supposedly 60% off. If its based on the $180 retail price, that would make them about $72 and a hell of a deal. They are also reviewed on the link kraken posted.

I was going to pick them up, but I spent all my BF2010 cash already.

Yes, that would be a great deal on the Monster Turbines and if I was in the market, I would pick them up without hesitation at that price.

I actually just missed the previous Lightning Deal on them the other day, Amazon had them listed for $59. Even if I wasn't looking for headphones, I would have probably bought them anyway at that price.

I'm listening to the Monster Turbines right now and they're the first set of earbuds that haven't had any trouble sealing. Comfortable for several hours of wear as well- the included tips are great. Got these when they were on sale a couple weeks ago.

Just an update, they are $70 on Amazon right now, they are going fast though.

I personally recommend the HeadDirect RE0 IEMs. For less than $100, by far one of the best bang-for-your-buck IEMs out there.

Wow, and just saw this deal. Triple.fi 10s for $95. Awesome headphones for an awesome price.

Get some shure's. nothing else out there comes even close.

Triple Fi is sold out.

A great, shallow insert, ie comfortable, iem with a microphone for flexibility is the MEElectronics Ai-M9 / M9 which can be had at amazon for around $15.

Ok after thinking about what my goal is I think I don't need a pair of high dollar IEMs just something that sounds better than the stock Ipod headsets. I was looking at the Jbuds3's how are they compaired to the stock headsets?

in that price range I think I would go with the Sennheiser CX250 to get a little more bass

The only Shure's I've ever tried were almost completely lacking in bass.

about $30.00 or so. My wife and I only use them to workout with and maybe when we go on vaction when flying other than that we dont use them.

Thank you I order a pair this morning. The JLab J2 did not work out for me at all.
