Dual RAID config on single controller

I have the following:
1x LSI 9266-8i
1x Intel RES2SV240
8x WD Red 3tb's
1x Intel 510 series 240g

Want to know if I can do the following:
- Buy Cachecade plugin for the LSI
- Buy 4x Seagate Cheetah 600g 1500k drives
- Connect one port from the LSI to the expander and use two expander output ports (one direct to the SSD and the other expanded (1 to 4 splitter) out to the 4x SAS drives) to setup a SSD + RAID6 array with cahcecade
- Connect the second port from the LSI to the expander and use two remaining expander output ports expanded (1 to 4 splitter) out to the 8x SATA drives for a second RAID 6 array

Can anyone see any problems with this, or any performance issues on the cachecade raid side? Should I get a second controller and/or expander?
 
All depends what you're trying to do with the setup. Store movies? Edit video & photos? Track dolphin migration?
 
Data storage on the larger RAID with local and network access to files. OS, games and general use on the smaller RAID. More interested in knowing limitations in bandwidth from the cards point of view from doing this, cant find any easy answers on the net. Cant even find benchmarks of SSD + 4 SATA drives on a single 6gb/ps port, let alone with cachecade.

You have all the equipment to build a decent ZFS configuration... so do it !

1x Intel 510 series 240g for system, partitioned 30 GB for the system (OpenIdinana, Solaris 11, Nexanta ...)

LSI port 1 :
- 2x SSD mirrored ZIL (Micron P300 or OWC Mercury Entreprise Pro 100 Go (ref OWCSSDMEP6G100 | OWC SSD MEP 6G 100 , 480 € / 7 years of waranty ) < Hitachi Ultrastar SSD400M Enterprise </= Toshiba MKx001GRZB < STEC ZeusRAM)
- 1x STEC ZeusIOPS or Plextor M3 Pro 2556 go

LSI port 2 :
- 20x WD Red 3tb's on 4x vDevs of 5 drives RaidZ ... or 2x vDev of 2 drives mirrored

I dont have a lot of background knowledge on ZFS, but remember reading a while back that hardware raid isnt the best for it, and software raid is more suitable. Ill do some reading tonight.

2x microns will set me back some coin.
