I tried Lost Rites lol it's Crazy Just a Mess I maybe I needed two Tanks. This wasn't even the Last Boss of the Dungeon. Update Some Dungeons are Easier the one in screenshot is very difficult.

I think I'm going to circle back to this and give it another whirl based on the year plus worth of updates they did since I last tried it.

Whatever happened with that "corrupted pawns" issue? You could accidentally get some pawn that other people had and it had some disease and would wipe your team out? Is all that squared away too?

not sure if the issue is still the same, as i only started playing the game last week. your pawns will regularly allude to that sickness and you can pretty easily craft a remedy for it.
in 55hours so far, using countless of pawns, i havent encountered it.

base game felt great, whatever issues there were seem nonexistent. story is VERY mid, but the exploration and combat is fantastic.
going into the DLC felt even better. story is better. the new region looks and plays fantastic.

i cannot believe ive slept on this game for so long. it really is exactly what i want in an open world ARPG

also, they way the classes/vocations are done in this game is so good. its incredible to switch to a different one when you get bored a bit, you only feel a little less powerful at first.
and every class really plays very differently.

the new skills ive gotten so far from the DLC are pretty great too.
i wouldnt read any "tier lists" online, just play whatever you want.

I just got it, bought the DLC with base at a good combo price. Haven't played DLC yet, still taking my time with the base game. Nice thing about base game story not being too special is that I feel no need to rush the plot like a page turner fiction book. Just sit back and roam and mess around. Also it's not hard to headcannon behind the dialogue. I don't need excessive unpacking of the characters. Much better being efficient with dialogue than games that try too hard. Gameplay and world interaction does several things I always wanted to see in games. Makes up for the hit point bloat if you're not optimizing your build/gear/level. No level scaling so you do feel more powerful as things progress.

just remember to start the DLC at level 40 or so. at least dip your toes into the last rites dungeons by then

Oh, if I'm too high lvl starting the DLC, that's not good?
nah, youre probably fine. i made the mistake of waiting too long and not knowing where i was in the story as it was my first playthrough too. so i was suddenly in the endgame and couldnt get there anymore. had to finsih the game, start NG+. bit of a hassle
