Does it really matter which way water flows through a GPU block?

In all honesty I have seen people do all kinds of serial connections even on the same waterblocks and the hookups are alternating. If it were required to go one way wouldnt serial have to criss cross to ensure that the direction of flow was correct?

With most GPU blocks out there, no, not really. I've only seen flow directionality as an issue in some of the more exotic CPU waterblocks out there.

Some matter, others don't. The ones that do matter will have the inlet and outlets labled. Most, if not all fullcover blocks do not care about directionality. Some universal ones do, like my D-tek Fuzion GFX 2.
