D2D is having a 24 days of Christmas sale.
They had a massive summer sale not too long ago, of course, during which I bought about 5 titles for $5 each. Steam also just finished its Christmas sale, last week, during which I bought Resident Evil 5, Grid, and Borderlands (shockingly, all within the space of just 48 hours). On Sunday I bought Dawn Of Discovery on sale at D2D, and then Shift the next day (for 25$ Shift was a steal - for me it would've been worthy of the full price.) I thought I had bought every major game published in the past 24 months - but no.
For only $20 I have to take a look at Prototype (on sale for 24 hours at D2D). It isn't a game I would pay full price for, but for $20 I have to consider this.
Any thoughts here?
When Red Faction Guerilla went on sale I bought it on a whim, and I have to admit I've gotten a good 15 hours out of that game. If I get two dollar's worth of entertainment from a title then I'm happy. So a twenty dollar game has to last me... let me do the math here... ah yes, ten hours.
