I don't play it as often as I did during Forsaken going for Dregen but I love Gambit.. in moderation.

I think if you play enough, some of the things like invader spawns start to be memorized and you can better counter them. Also the age old "let them burn their invade before we trigger the damage phase" is critical. Like it was mentioned, trying to conduct a damage phase while being invaded is a waste of time and very frustrating.

Ultimately, its far easier with a full 4-stack so you can communicate.

My loadouts vary depending on if I want to focus 100% on invading or not but I usually always have a sniper. I feel like nothing can deal with invaders faster, especially if you get a bead on them the second they spawn in. Plus, they can be useful for the PvE portions. Pick off some priority targets then I'll run in and clean up with Recluse.

Heavy is Hammerhead unless my roll is going to be purely PvE then Wendigo comes out.

Then the biggest help to Gambit and one of its biggest problems.. Taken Armaments. Gambit made easy.

Gambit Prime is fun with a decent team or even a bad team as long as the game is close. I can't say I have any desire to play normal Gambit ever. (Maybe with a 4-stack but a bad team makes this feel like unending torture.)

It would be fun too see a weekly rotation added with modifiers to spice things up. Extra heavy, fast super recharge, special motes, scorch cannons, no invading, Invading that warps everyone to a small arena, primeval damage tug of war, etc.

Daaaaang I got a lot of Fractaline....

I just got booted from the game and trying to get back in I'm getting a "D2 at capacity" message.

Seriously?

Sure enough I'm watching their Help Twitter feed and forums blow up. Their Crimson Days gimmick must have screwed something up.

Here we go again. Unbelievable:

Seems like a weekly thing nowadays. They could add a donate 400 fractline button to reduce stress on the servers if all of us donating is too much lol.

There are reports on twitter and reddit that people were losing materials again.

This is not good. If true it might mean another roll back.

Embarrassing. What is their deal? For a long time they were sailing along like champs for the most part. Too many spinning plates now?

It's funny, they added an event that effectively begs the players to DDoS the servers after a reset, lol

Donating fractaline is fucking awful. The amount of time is just....you’re no longer playing a game just holding and releasing a button.

And they expect this to be done millions of times.

Not bad with a macro, you can walk away. Though doing that you miss out on so many weapon rolls and XP.

Yeah I’ve got basically a god roll Perfect Paradox and Jack Queen King now. Still gonna go reinvest what I have left (got my triumph and a little extra).
I don't play enough throughout the week to continue to gain fractaline so I donated to 5100 and then reinvested the last 1200 into the final obelisk that wasn't level 11.

That's basically what I've done. After that crazy setup I had a few days ago I got a ton of fractaline so I'm done trying to get it.

I am going to get the Triumph and then save the rest for whatever comes next. I don't see anything else to do with it.

Confusion about lantern of Osiris. I'm rank 190.

Power bonus +19. 12/12 unlocks. The Triumph says I'm 19/20 for power and my step score is 25 and the total is 50. What does that mean?

If you want to see both Worldline Zero skating, double One-Two Punch and Taken Armaments used to their absolute fullest potential, watch this insanity.

I remember getting Whisper back in 2018 with like 4 seconds left on the clock with a full fireteam and this guy now has the mission beat in under 5 minutes solo.

Crazy to watch.

I think next season PvP is going to be hell for me. I got pretty lucky with games in solo survival starting off in the middle of the season (wanted to get the Recluse and queued as controllock with getaways); first and some times second games of the day would always be up against potatoes so my score would shoot up, and then my next few would be rough against some really good players. The problem with those rough games is that it felt like I'd be carried by my team and my best strat was to do my best to survive or trade kills; most of those, my teams would barely win too. My last game I got really lucky and carried the final match 1v3 against a team that was dropping me as soon as I was out of cover, haha. So now I'm stuck with a number of high KD streaks, an Elo of over 1500, but an overall KD just under 1...

I know my biggest issue is dueling and learning maps, it just seems like it's getting tougher when the other teams are really aggressive.

I'll tell you what though, supercharged arc-buddy is really good for putting pressure on unexpecting players. A lot freak out from the hits and scurry for cover or just shut down, giving you enough time to chase or reposition.

That is super impressive to watch, he definitely has it down to a science. Something us Warlock mains will enjoy as well. It is a shame this could all be going away with the Sword rework coming.

Ok sometimes doubles you have some fun. We were doing a blue weapon only run and this poor, poor gunslinger... (only hear my buddy cackling lol)

And the hits keep coming. I love this thing.

That sums up my doubles experience. Matching with much better players. And the time to kill felt like it was Momentum Control. Got the bow and called it good.

No problems on reset. So today is February 18th. I saw a compelling cutscene and IB is back but what was the big deal about today?

Supposedly any further investment at Obelisks gives less return so today is the day people are talking about just donating. I'm going to dump it all... kinda over it anyway. Time to sit and make as many Perfect Paradox and JQK3's as I can before I die of boredom.

I've pretty much gotten my God rolls or close to it on those weapons so I'll just dump and maybe be a level 300 on XP if I even bother with that. That Perfect Paradox bounty trick definitely works.

I'm not interested in more weapons, so I'll probably just dump the fractaline to save time.

Saw the new slew of nerfs coming from yesterday's twab. Sigh. I've pretty much been sitting out this season anyway but that might be the nail in the coffin for me with D2, unless there is a Forsaken quality expansion that comes out and it isn't focused on sidearms and scouts *shudder*. I've been playing Modern Warfare and I'm pretty excited to mix it up. I've learned about this "Shipment 24/7" thing that has become my new favorite. Honestly, i've been playing D2 heavily since release and it's just time for a break.

I'm pretty excited for the buffs to autorifles, I'm 90% sure hardlight is going be seeing alot more use after these changes. And honestly shotguns/fusion rifles needed some tuning, their 1shot ranges are way to far

Not worried. I remember the initial rage when Whisper was nerfed.. I couldn't care less now. There will be something else that's fun to use and rise up.

Just rolling with it.

Meanwhile i'm going to start looking through me Firing Line snipers, Masterwork that Rapid Hit/Firing Line Line in the Sand, and start combing through DIM for god roll auto rifles.

The nerfs won’t really affect my play style at all, the Shotgun and Fusion changes sound welcome to me. Sniper changes are a bit heavy handed, but that’s because the buff was probably heavy handed.

Autorifle numbers seem neglible. I’m not sure they’re really going to do anything. I was excited to hear autorifle buffs and read about it. Did some quick maffs and not sure the buffs are even worth Bungies time.

Happy Tuesday ... or rather click a button every 5 seconds for 20 minutes to donate your fractaline. So lame.

I've made all the rolls I want so luckily the Logitech software makes macroing this easy. Have the game running in a window donating while I watch other things.

However at the time of writing this, were at 9.55B out of the required 9.78B and I just want to be logged in when this is finished. Not getting my hopes up though that anything will happen.
