I just wish they made it so you could take out the zombies' legs and make them crawl after you...you can disable their arms but not really their legs for some reason.

Also, I hear the analog combat is pretty cool if you are using a controller.

That's a pretty solid idea, would be a nice addition. Wouldn't mind some creepies trying to come after me without legs. Then I can deliver a swift kick of justice to their faces.

I consider Dead Island to be a terrible but enjoyable game. It's not a good game, but it's lots of fun. For those who don't understand what I mean, it's similar to an awful movie that is highly entertaining. Quality != enjoyability.

Like Just Cause 2? A lot of people here just didn't get the "bad movie that's so bad it's good" humor of that one but I loved it.

I'll play any game no matter how crappy it is if it has co-op. Dead Island is a fun game with a friend; by yourself, not so much.

It'd be quite lame alone, but with even just one friend, the game kicks ass.

If you're trying to play coop with friends and want to mod something, does everyone else have to mod the same things too, or just the host?

While I started out solo, I did get online with a few pubs, but naturally everyone just ran around doing their own thing and not talking, kinda like how Borderlands turns out when you try to play with randoms. Did enjoy when I played with a couple buddies though.

Not really a huge fan of how the zombies get exponentially tougher with more players, especially seeing as how the weapon durability doesn't seem to change to balance that out. If you can alter the durability, maybe there's a way to tone down the zombies getting tougher or something. I would rather have 4x as many zombies than the same number of zombies with 4x as many HPs (or whatever it is.)

And yes, first thing I had to do was figure out how to change the FoV, so started using that Dead Island Helper program from the get go.
